5 Star Cuisine - 02/19/2010 13:07:06
Debi F. from Kennewick, WA
Wow!!! This quant Cafe is a little jewel in South Kennewick. I expected plain old cafe food. Instead we were served 5 star cuisine that I would have thought came right from the best restaraunts of San Francisco. We met the chef Brian who has traveled the world and has worked with some of the best chefs around. He has brought his wonderful talents to Tri-cities. I highly recommend the baked brie with apricot and apple, the tempura vegetables with an unbelievable sauce! and finally a perfect peppercorn filet mignon. The staff was attentive and friendly as well as the local entertainment which we throughly enjoyed. We will keep coming back for more...truly a pleasure!
Not really a wine bar - 03/01/2009 11:40:05
The Epicurean Seeker from South Richland
It's not really a wine bar as compared to Roxy Wine Bar, Backbone Panini & Casa Vino Wine Bar. It's decorated more like a Starbucks. Standard restaurant fare seems to be the priority ahead of wine service. The wine prices are reasonably priced. They need to audit their open bottles. Gooseridge Cabernet exhibited no flaws and was very good. However, it was obvious that the Kestrel Lady in Red bottle had been opened for a couple of days and was exhibiting oxidation and bitter flavors.
