First let me just say, what an amazing view! Absolutely stunning, esspecially at night when the Cable Bridge is all lit up or right at sunset. I wasn''''t expecting this small hotel restaurant, remenscent of a ship''''s cocktail lounge (complete with craved wood decor and portholes), to take my breathe away both visually as well as with taste. Try the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops, served as an appetizer or dinner. They are large, juicy, grilled to perfection and drizzled with a yummy mango curry sauce. Even the bed of rice they laid on had me wanting to lick my plate. Great flavor! A must try and a must see!

What a killer view! It''''s stunning, and the food is good. Here are the BUT''''s It was so noisy! Maybe that was because it was the evening of the Untapped Blues festival. The noice and raucousness of some patrons made my special dinner a little less special. I was dining with cousins visiting from Massachusetts. They didn''''t know what great wine the mid-Columbia makes, and now they do. That was great. Alas, how I wish Crows Nest would avail itself of the great beef grown here as well instead of factory farm beef from Kansas.

We usually do the lunch thing when Sundown Marine holds their annual Polar Bear Wakeboarding Plunge. Great views of the river, the event, and Pasco. It's a little cramped inside for lunch. It was originally designed for a cocktail lounge with small tables. Lunch fare is average. Wine prices are fairly decent. I would like to see more variety offered.... but what the heck have a bottle, order lunch and watch the crazy ones on the river!
